Welcome to eyeFocused

eyeFocused is a web app that allows you to read without distractions. Submit any text, and focus on one line at a time with Line Mode, or one paragraph at a time with Paragraph Mode. To learn how to use this app, click in the footer menu.

Instructions

  1. Click in the footer menu.
  2. Enter your text in the text field.
  3. Click the Submit button.
  4. Select your desired font, font size, and line height. You can preview how your text will appear in the Preview section at the bottom of the Settings page.
  5. Select your desired mode:
    • Line Mode blurs out the text and creates a focus line. The height of the focus line is determined by the font size and line height that you’ve selected. You can read along your submitted text by clicking the down/up buttons or pressing the arrow keys on your keyboard. If your text is longer than the height of the page, the focus line will stop at the bottom of the page, and you can scroll down to continue reading.
    • Paragraph Mode blurs out the submitted text except the paragraph that you’re on. When you click the down/up buttons or press the arrow keys on your keyboard, the focus moves to the next/previous paragraph, and the text scrolls automatically.
  6. Click in the footer menu to read your text.
Note: To optimize your experience of this web app on mobile devices, you can add it to your home screen. This will enable you to open it as a standalone app, without your browser’s address bar. It will also enable you to use it offline.
